CASHEDGE GUIDE

How to Use CashEdge

CashEdge combines game analysis, Premium Plays, Player Props and live market intelligence. This guide explains what each section means and how to read the information shown in the platform.

Getting Started

  1. Choose a sport. Select the league you want to analyze from the CashEdge home screen.
  2. Open a game. CashEdge shows the current matchup and available market information.
  3. Run or open the analysis. Review the recommendation, model projection, confidence, edge and supporting information available for that sport.
  4. For Premium Plays, check Market Intelligence. The recommendation is only one part of the decision. Premium Radar follows what the sportsbook market does around the play.
  5. Recheck the line before acting. Sportsbook lines and prices can change after CashEdge displays an analysis.
CashEdge provides analytics and informational content. It does not operate as a sportsbook, does not place wagers for users and does not guarantee outcomes.

How to Read a CashEdge Play

A CashEdge play normally identifies the market, the side and the line to which the analysis applies. Always read the complete selection because a different line can materially change the value of a play.

Spread

Example: TEAM -3.5
The selected team must win by 4 or more points for that spread to cover.

Example: TEAM +3.5
The selected team can win the game outright or lose by 3 or fewer points and still cover the spread.

Total

Example: OVER 47.5
The combined score of both teams must finish above 47.5.

Example: UNDER 47.5
The combined score must finish below 47.5.

Moneyline

A Moneyline or ML selection is based on which team wins the game, without applying a point spread.

Player Prop

Example: Player OVER 72.5 Rushing Yards
The play is tied to that player's statistical result in the listed market and line. In this example, 73 or more rushing yards would finish above the line.

Odds / Price

If American odds are displayed, negative and positive numbers describe the sportsbook price, not CashEdge confidence. For example, -110 and +120 are prices. They should not be read as probability percentages.

What the Main Metrics Mean

CashEdge Pick The exact side or market CashEdge is identifying for that analysis.
Line The sportsbook threshold attached to the play, such as -3.5, +7.5, 47.5 or a player prop number.
Projection CashEdge's modeled estimate for the game, team or player outcome. The meaning depends on the market being analyzed.
Confidence CashEdge's model confidence for the displayed analysis. It measures signal strength inside CashEdge; it is not a guarantee of winning.
Edge The modeled separation between CashEdge's view and the current market. Edge is calculated differently depending on the sport and market, so it should not automatically be read as points or win probability.
Premium Play A play that meets CashEdge's current Premium qualification rules. Premium reveals the exact selection, projection, edge and supporting analysis.
Confidence and Edge are not the same thing. A larger Edge means CashEdge sees a larger model-versus-market difference. Confidence is a separate measure of how strongly the overall analysis supports the play.

Market Intelligence / Premium Radar

Premium Radar continues monitoring the market around active Premium Plays. It is designed to answer a different question from the original analysis: what is the market doing now?

Best Available Line The most favorable currently observed number for the CashEdge selection among the sportsbooks being tracked. The named sportsbook identifies where that number was observed.
Market Consensus The broader market number CashEdge derives from the sportsbooks it is tracking. It helps show whether one sportsbook is different from the rest of the market.
Betting Splits — Tickets % The share of tracked wagers represented by tickets or bet count when that information is available.
Betting Splits — Money % The share of tracked wagered money when that information is available. A difference between Money % and Tickets % can provide context about average wager size.
Sharp Signals A CashEdge market signal based on available evidence such as sportsbook movement and Money/Tickets information. It is an interpretation of market behavior, not proof of who placed a wager.
Market Direction Shows whether the latest market evidence is moving with the CashEdge selection, against it, or remains mixed / unsettled.

Common Market Statuses

Support / Better Value The market is supporting the CashEdge side or a more favorable number is still available.
Mixed / Closing The market is split, the better number is shrinking, or there is not yet a clear market consensus.
Pressure Against The broader market has moved materially against the CashEdge selection and should be reviewed carefully.

Stale Line / Better Line Available

If several tracked sportsbooks move but one sportsbook still shows a more favorable number, CashEdge may identify that difference as a value opportunity or stale line. Availability can disappear quickly as sportsbooks update their markets.

Timeline / Market Events

Premium Radar highlights meaningful changes rather than every small market fluctuation. Depending on the game, the timeline may show stronger support, pressure against the play, a reversal, a better line becoming available or a value window starting to close.

Advanced Player Props

Player Props compare the sportsbook's posted number with CashEdge's player analysis and recent statistical context.

CashEdge Probability CashEdge's estimated probability for the analyzed side of the prop.
Sportsbook Probability The market probability implied by the available sportsbook price when shown.
VALUE Highlights a difference between CashEdge's probability assessment and the sportsbook market. Positive value does not guarantee that the prop will win.
Projection CashEdge's modeled statistical expectation for the player in that market.
Last 3 / Last 5 / Last 10 Recent performance windows. Early in a season, fewer games may be available, so CashEdge may show the history that is actually available.
Season The player's current-season statistical view when available.
Home / Away Shows how the player has performed in the relevant venue split when sufficient data exists.
Matchup / Opponent Context about the current opponent and how that matchup may relate to the player or market being analyzed.
Recent Trend Whether recent performance has been moving above, below or around the player's longer-term level.
Consistency How stable or variable the player's recent results have been in the selected statistical category.
H2H Head-to-head history against the current opponent when meaningful data is available.

Today's Parlay

Today's Parlay combines multiple qualifying selections into one grouped play. Each leg should still be read individually before evaluating the full parlay.

Because every leg must satisfy the parlay result, parlays generally carry more combined outcome risk than a single selection.

CashEdge's public Premium Play performance record is separate from Player Props, free / regular analyses and parlays unless the platform explicitly states otherwise.

Premium Performance / History

CashEdge publicly tracks qualifying Premium Play results using wins, losses and pushes. The performance section is designed to show how tracked Premium selections have performed historically.

W — Win The tracked Premium Play was graded as a win.
L — Loss The tracked Premium Play was graded as a loss.
P — Push The result landed exactly on the relevant line where the market rules produce a push.
Tracked Accuracy A historical summary of tracked results. Historical performance does not guarantee future results.

Premium Market Alerts

Premium notifications are intended to surface meaningful market changes around CashEdge Premium selections, such as a newly detected opportunity, stronger market support or a meaningful reversal.

A notification describes what CashEdge detected at that moment. Because sportsbook markets move continuously, open the related Premium Radar card to review the latest available state before relying on an earlier alert.

Free vs Premium

Free access allows users to explore CashEdge with the daily analysis access shown in the app. Premium unlocks the full CashEdge experience, including Premium Plays, Market Intelligence / Premium Radar, Advanced Player Props and expanded platform access.
